Description

A quick and versatile hummus wrap that can be made in 15 minutes with various filling options.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large flour tortillas (25–30cm / 1012 inch)
  • 6 tablespoons hummus, divided
  • 2 large handfuls of salad leaves (baby spinach, rocket, or chopped romaine)
  • Your chosen filling (options below)

Instructions

  1. Warm the tortilla by placing it in a dry pan over medium heat for 20–30 seconds per side, or microwave between two damp paper towels for 20 seconds.
  2. Spread 3 generous tablespoons of hummus onto the lower half of the tortilla, covering it wall to wall.
  3. Add a handful of salad leaves over the hummus.
  4. Add your chosen filling on top of the greens, leaving the top quarter clear.
  5. Roll the tortilla burrito-style, folding in the sides and tucking the bottom edge tightly.
  6. Optional, toast the wrap in the pan seam-side down for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden.

Notes

Use room-temperature hummus for easy spreading. Cut the wrap diagonally for best results.
